Tuesday night

Well Tuesday night was not a good night!! I was pretty much card dead for the whole night, raised a few hands in spots , stole some pots and I won some small pots but nothing substantial! Eventually, the blinds were getting expensive and after a few hours of ply we reach 100-200 blind level and I had chip stack of about 2100 and finally got a decent hand AK the best of the night for me and I decided that now was the time to shove allin and maybe double up! Iggy the Godfather called the bounty for this evening and he had me covered with about 3000 something and he called w JJ and the flop came 2h 5h 6h 5x 4x ( dont quote me on this because Im writing without hand history!) though the exact cards are close and it doesn't matter I never got any help here and Iggy won the pot and knocked me out!! so I failed to cash or get even close to the final table which does not happen to me in this series very often.. Hope have better luck than thsi next time lol Steve

Thursady night 12/4

Hi everyone! This time I finished 13th and did not make the final table lol, I usually do at least make a final table in blogger tourney but tonight I was getting premium hands like QQ or AA's several times throughout the tourney but not getting any action on my raises or double ups with those hands which normally would give me an opportunity to have a large stack and use that to my advantage toeither reach the final and cash! Finally after going card dead for a while the blind level was at 150-300 and antes were 25 , my stack was 3100 giving me a M of 6, and I got A-A and made a stndard raise 3x blind and got no callers as happened all night frustrating to say the least and then immediatley the next hand got dealt J-J and I went allin and got called my SnappyLC with KK and he ends up knocking me out with higher full house vs my lower full house. Well, that was my evening in a nutshell!!

December 2 Poker Blog

Tonight's Bodog poker blog series. Tuesday we started out with 33 players. I immediately started receiving premium hands like KK, Aa which was unreal for me!! In fact early in the tournament I received KK to my delight! Snappy LC raised a min raise to 60 with the blinds at

15-30. I reraised him with a big rr to 340 to thin the field as well as go heads up with Snappy.The min raise could mean a wide range of hands that he was raising with!, but I thought Snappy's range of hands could be anywhere from QQ-88, AK-AJ, KQ . Snappy then called my rr. Then I narrowed his range of hands to either AA or QQ and I leaned more towards the QQ because I thought he would have maybe rr me allin pre-flopwith AA in this situation. The flop comes 7s 3h 10d. Great flop for me no overcards to my KK. Snappy then first to act checks, I bet 3/4 of pot 690. Snappy checkraises me allin for 2035, I called quickly with rest of my chips for 1,345 and the turn and river come up blanks and my KK holds up and I already have 4795 in chips ! Great start for me! This run continued as we reach 15-30 blind level. Trip jax raised min raise to 60. I called bet . The flop comes 10s As Qh and then everyone folded and it was back to Tripjax who bet 155 in to 255 pot which was a little more than half the pot. I had made two pair AQ on the flop and I figured that my hand was better than Trip jax and that he had Ax. I reraised the pot to 650 in order to comitt Tripjax and he called instantly with just A6 to my surprise and I ended up doubling again and now I had 6875 in chips at this early level and I knocked my second player of the night. To be continued shortly to finish the highlights of this tournament which included a knockout of famous smokee ! I enned up eight in fianl 3 way pot and got knocked out !! Good start but disappointing finish.
